Lydia (they/she) is a queer Asian American person who has lived in Nevada, Minnesota, and Utah before coming to Massachusetts. Lydia is deeply committed to supporting LGBTQ+ youth in their personal development and political journeys.

Before BAGLY, Lydia was the Youth Education Program Manager at the Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center. Their background is in working with immigrant and refugee youth, particularly in matters of college access, financial support, and community organizing. This has left them passionate about language justice, disability justice, affordable housing and anti-gentrification work, and abolition.

While in college, Lydia studied Mathematics and English with a focus on queer Asian American literature. Outside of work, they enjoy fiber arts such as knitting and mending clothes, as well as visiting their local outdoor cat at the park.
