BAGLY ‘s Boston based programming has included Social Support and Community Building led by, and for, LGBTQ youth since our inception in 1980, provides leadership opportunities, health information and access for several thousand LGBTQ young people each year. BAGLY’s Weekly Meetings and drop-in are held between 5pm and 9pm at the Community Church of Boston, 565 Boylston Street in Copley Square, directly across from “the fountain”, a popular public space where LGBTQ youth hang out.
A typical Wednesday night looks like this:
- 5:00-6:00: Youth Leadership Committee Meeting
- 6:00-7:00: Welcoming meeting – This is a great meeting if you’re new to BAGLY. We give you an orientation to BAGLY and play “getting to know you” games.
- 7:00-8:00: Identity Meetings – Women’s Meeting, Transgender Identities Meeting, People of Color (POC) Meeting, and Men who have Sex with Men (MSM) Meeting
- 8:00-9:00: Our last hour of programming rotates each month:
