Queer Activist College

In 2004, BAGLY established the Queer Activist College (QuAC) program in order to support the development of new and emerging movement leadership among LGBTQ youth in Greater Boston.

QuAC offers amazing workshops on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at our Boston based program space.  Workshops focus on building the social, racial, economic, and environmental justice, sexual freedom (and lots more!) skills of LGBTQ youth – laying the foundation for BAGLY’s youth-led advocacy work.  All skills-based classes focus on essential advocacy, direct action and organizing tools/skills and often feature panels and invited guests.  Visit our calendar to view upcoming QuAC classes!

Let’s not forget about our QuAC Study Abroad project!!  Each year, BAGLY provides several opportunities for members to deepen their skills and connect with a broader, national LGBTQ movement. Contact us to find out more about our annual pilgrimage to the Creating Change Conference.  Other Study Abroad opportunities may include: True Colors Conference, Philadelphia Trans-Health Conference, International AIDS Conference, and more!
